As I record this podcast it's 32 degrees outside. How many of
you are so ready for spring? There are many things you can do to
get ready for spring, one of which is to start planning your
garden. Here at the home office we've gotten a start our vegetable
garden by planting some seeds in a starter tray. In fact that tray
is about six feet away from me right now. We put it here in the
office so we can keep an eye on it better, to make sure it gets
plenty of water, and to make sure the cat stays out of it. In a few
short weeks we'll see them sprout, and in a few weeks more after
that we will be able to transfer them outside. Growing your own
vegetables is a very worthwhile thing to do. And not to mention
home grown tomatoes are the absolute best. Not only will it save
you a little grocery money around harvest time; you'll get plenty
of exercise working in your garden.
